Rex Sargeant : The Racket Scientist himself - the big man with THE most stoically dry and unmistakably Northern sense of humour.
We served many campaigns together in the field of battle. There was never anyone I'd rather have watching my corner of the Rock'n'Roll stage.
Unflappable to the max - nothing ever seemed to faze you.
What kills me most now is that in your hour of need we weren't there for you. Sorry dude.
Our thoughts are with you Suzanna.
Remember you rockin' with the cossacks and getting wrecked in the Ukraine! Happy times. RIP Rex. Trev 440.
A true gentleman and faithful friend.Sorely missed... H

You have always been there for me
And will remain part of my life.
Memories stay with us forever.
You are my big brother and musical guardian.
A dear friend
You will walk with me always.
Cliff, Jane & family
Rex! What time's breakfast? Got any Euro plug adaptors? Life at Apollo Control and on the road will be very different without you, always there, calm and cool even if nothings working or none of the gear has turned up! I will always see you at the side of the stage and think of you each time i see velcro or illuminous tape. Rest in peace friend. ak x

What's so sad when somebody passes on is the amount of love & respect felt towards you from family, close friends & work colleagues that you may never knew was there for you...

Rex, mate, I can't believe you're gone. No more "got the kettle on?"
I wish we could have shared one more cuppa.
You, with your fountain of racket science, your generosity, and your chuckles in the face of adversity, will be very much missed by many.
Rest in peace you diamond gent, it was an honour to know you.
